In the regular meeting of the Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Education on Tuesday, February 7, the EGUSD School Names Committee recommended to the Board the name of Zehnder Ranch Elementary School for the Laguna Ridge North school site. We are pleased to announce that the Board of Education unanimously voted to accept this recommendation. The Zehnder family has been an integral part of the Elk Grove community in agriculture, business and community services for nearly eight decades.
