What is the phone number for Iowa State Scholarships? ›

If you receive a scholarship from a source other than Iowa State University, please notify us as soon as possible. You can do this by reporting the award on AccessPlus (go to 'Financial Aid' and then 'Report Additional Aid') or by calling the Scholarship Unit at 515-294-5627.

You will be able to view your Financial Aid Offer in your Admissions MyAccount or Workday Student for details about your cost of attendance and financial aid options available to you.

Appointments fill quickly at the start of the academic year, so Zoom drop-in, phone, or email may be a quicker way to get your questions answered. Parents are not eligible to schedule appointments on their own, but can call our office at 319-335-1450 to speak with an Advisor.

Iowa Resident National Merit Full Tuition Scholarship

Iowa residents who are named National Merit Scholars by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation will qualify for a full tuition scholarship available for four years (eight semesters) of undergraduate coursework at Iowa State University.

If you have an account username and password and your FAFSA information has been processed, you can log in at fafsa.gov to view SAR information regardless of the method (online or on a FAFSA PDF) you used to file a FAFSA form or whether you provided an email address or not.

You can also check the status of your FAFSA form by contacting the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-433-3243. To check on the status of financial aid being disbursed (paid out) to you or your account, check with your school's financial aid office.
