Fetch-based missions tend to be a massive pain in Escape From Tarkov. You have to find hidden objects with little to no clues whatsoever. Add low rewards in the mix and your motivation drops steeply low.

Fortunately, these missions tend to become pretty easy as long as you know where to look for them. Having said that, the Bad Rep Evidence isn’t exactly anything new; it just recycles and reuses the same old difficulty formulas.

In this guide, we will be showing the method of clearing Bad Rep Evidence in Escape From Tarkov. So on that note, let’s jump in and get started!

Bad Rep Evidence – Mission Objectives

You will be aiming to complete the following objectives while playing Bad Rep Evidence Mission in Escape From Tarkov.

1. Obtain the Secure Folder: There’s a secure folder hidden in the bunkhouse on the Customs; it’s pretty integral for the mission!
   • Access The Locked Room: This room is located in the office hallway on the third floor of the Factory. (Optional Objective)
   • Obtain The Key: You need to find the Portable Bunkhouse Key (Optional Objective).

Bad Rep Evidence | Main Items

There are a total of three items related to the mission. You cannot complete Bad Rep Evidence without them.

However, finding them can be a bit of a pain, so it’s better to know the ins and outs in order to be able to identify them later.

Item 1: Factory Emergency Exit Key

As the name suggests, this key is used to unlock the emergency exit door of the factory. It’s located on the third floor near the office area.

You don’t really need to grab this object since it’s a part of the optional missions. However, it is rather integral if you want to complete the mission with a full grade.

Item 2: Portable Bunkhouse Key

Unlike the Factory Emergency Exit key, you need to get this one in order to clear the mission. It unlocks the portable cabin in the customs.

The Secure Folder 0031 is located within that portable cabin.

Item 3: Secure Folder 0031

This quest item is only obtained if the quest is ongoing. Otherwise, you won’t be able to find anything, even if you manage to reach within the customs. Luckily though, the Secure Folder 0031 is automatically transferred to the player’s inventory.

It is a handover item that – as mentioned – is only available during the raid. You won’t be able to clear the mission without Secure Folder 0031, and you will lose this item if you fail to extract with it.

Bad Rep Evidence – Objective Item Locations

You essentially need to grab the folder in the customs and extract it in order to win the mission. This can be done by unlocking a couple of doors – looking under a few jackets, and heading toward a few areas.

Here’s a general outline of the mission:

• Grab a Portable Bunkhouse key
• Unlock the room in customs to find the documents.
• Extract from customs.

With that out of the way, here’s how you can find these items:

Portable Bunkhouse Key

The Portable Bunkhouse Key is located under a jacket in the locked room. However, you need to have the Factory Emergency Exit Key, in order to unlock the room.

Luckily, this isn’t the only way – despite it being so reliable. You have a random chance of obtaining the Portable Bunkhouse Key from the following areas:

• Found at the Flea Market
• Found on top of Scavs
• Found under or within Jackets

Factory Emergency Exit Key

This is a key obtained from a secondary mission known as Scout. Unfortunately though, the Factory Emergency Exit Key can only be used about 20 times – so you better make your attempts count.

You can hold three such keys in your PMC inventory – ramping the number up to 60 times.

Secure Document

The document is located in the customs – near the center of the map – on the southern side of the dorms in the construction zone. Here’s an image for identification:

Head to the upper floor of this cabin by using the stairs. Use the key to unlock it, and find the documents situated on the table.

Conclusion

In essence, you just need to find the key by using a different key. Once done, just head to the specified cabin’s location and open the lock on the second floor in order to head inside and find the documents.

Make a run for it and viola! You’re pretty much good to go. However, you do need to be at least level 6 in order to start this quest.
